Get to know West London based singer AMA. The 18-year-old talent delivers her lovely debut single “Monochrome”, out now on Dirty Hit. An ode to the grey area of young love, AMA’s vivid storytelling flows effortlessly over the track, “Do you feel the same? / If I get you never letting go / Maybe I should leave you alone” sings AMA. The song is a nostalgic unrequited R&B love letter. “It was basically written instead of sending a really lame text message to a crush I had,” AMA told i-D magazine. “I was just romanticising the whole situation in my head and hoping it was mutual.”
Alongside with the song AMA delivers stunning visuals, directed by Arnaud Bresson, part of Division Paris, the French video production team who have made videos for the likes of A$AP Rocky, Kali Uchis, Kayne West, M.I.A. and more.
