She is a violinist, singer, songwriter and producer. You could also call Sudan Archives an avangardistic superwoman gifted by a variety of talents. Her newest drop “Confessions” off of her upcoming album “Athena”, out November 1st on Stones Throw, is a very personal, psychedelic take on modern R&B and accompanied by visuals showing “a female flip on classic rap music videos”. At the closing section of the clip Sudan even debuts portions of a new, captivating song “Black Vivaldi Sonata”. As per usual, Sudan Archives shares a hypnotic, deeply personal and vulnerable view of her life as a twin sister, being confronted with complexities of duality her entire life.
