Rising neo-soul singer-songwriter Joy Crookes, who was nominated for the Brit Awards Rising Star 2020, shares her new single “Anyone But Me”, a brave record in which she talks about her personal struggles with depression. In a press release the South London native states: “I’ve suffered from mental health issues since I was young…Being able to have these important conversations with my friends and then my family has been challenging and I guess that’s why I always turned to music…” The track as such is a soft, mellow and at the same time catchy ballad digging deep into a mind and thoughts of a from depression suffering mind.
