The legendary Pete Rock shares a bunch of unreleased beats from his sessions with INI. The “Golden Era” Hip Hop group composed of Rob-O, Grap Luva, Ras G, Marco Polo, and DJ Boodakhan startet working with Pete in mid-90s and signed a deal with his new found imprint Soul Brother Records through Elektra. The record company shelved the album, and they only released one 12″ single in 1996. The track “Fakin’ Jax”, produced and featuring Pete Rock, became an underground hit. Later in 2003 their album saw an official release. It was included on “Lost & Found: Hip Hop Underground Soul Classics”, a double LP of Pete Rock’s mid-1990s production work.
The new 10-track strong album called “Lost Sessions” features beats from that time and throws you straight back into the “Golden Era” of Hip Hop. All tracks are perfect to zone out and vibe too!
