The Netherlands-based, multi-talented Robin Yerah drops his new EP “Emulation” via Studio KOTO. His newest project is packed with highly eclectic and intoxicating R&B music. The EP includes Future Soul single “Break of Dawn (Prod. Jengi)”, which garnered attention from BBC1 Xtra’s Jamz Supernova and radio stations like Dash X and Konbini. Furthermore, during its first week, the track was added to numerous official Spotify Japan playlists.
“Emulation” is an Electronic R&B/Soul EP about dreams. Each track approaches the theme from a different perspective. The project is a co-production between Robin Yerah & Wantigga. Additionally, it features collaborations with Maydien and Jengi.
Lead single “Yume XP” is a Neo-Soul track with quirky, jazzy melodies and driving Dilla-like drums. Thanks to its surreal and vibey nature, it embodies the essence of the EP perfectly.
After the release of his beat tape “Baby Birds”, Robin quickly gained international notoriety as a young and gifted producer. With”Emulation” came an opportunity to highlight his vocal abilities and skills as a songwriter. It’s these different facets of Robin that make him the versatile musical powerhouse that he is.
