A few weeks ago German born rapper Kelvyn Colt dropped his newest, afrobeat-inspired gem “Mile Away”. Now he follows up with the official music video for this recent single thematizing the refugee movement and opening the visuals with the words: „War is a man made problem rooted in greed and veiled in political or religious agenda. Every day 37.000 people flee due to conflict or persecution. Empathy, compassion and love for our next and our environment should be our priority as a species and individuals.“ The video goes on to show against all expectations a fleeing white, apparently well-heeled family with two kids.
