One of Afrobeats most promising newcomer Alewya unveils her second single “Falling”. It’s a live cover of a song by DJ Kent and Maleh from 2010, she did together with drummer Moses Boyd.
The song serves as fundraiser for The Trevor Project which is an American non-profit organisation founded in 1998 focused on suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning youth. You can donate via Youtube.
Even tho “Sweating” is the only official single she has released yet, Alewya did grow quite a large fanbase this year and we can be excited what she has to offer in 2021.
