London and Lagos-bred New York-based producer/artist Halima drops off her debut EP “XYZ”.
“I suddenly became conscious of the fact that art was this thing that moved people and I wanted to be a part of it.” – says Halima
By the age of 14 she was producing neo-soul and electronic tracks and by 21 had created her own label One Percent Genius, releasing her self-produced singles. After making waves across streaming platforms with songs like “Ford Cordinal” and “Holding Me”, Halima pushes her career one step further by releasing her debut EP.
The 6-track project wich includes her latest singles “Wake up!” and “DownTown” is completely produced by herself and she even directed the music video for “Break”.
