Nigerian singer Obongjayar links up with one of the hottest Afrobeat producers Sarz for a collaborative EP entitled “Sweetness”.
On his new EP Obongjayar sings about the early stages of a relationship, with the ego stripped away — the vulnerability, doubt and anxiety of trying to figure out where you stand, as well as the sweetness and excitement. With a sound that fuses R&B, Afrobeats and 80s Synthwave, the Nigerian duo created a refreshing sound to transport that sweetness.
