Introducing Brazil based model, actress and singer MAYA. Two months ago she made her musical debut with the 4-track EP “Love.” Inspired by the voracity of relationships, ranging from love to hate, she delivers finest Future R&B with a strong visual appeal focused on fashion, empowerment and sensuality. MAYA’s “Love” EP is the first part of a project, which will be complemented with new tracks exposing an almost opposite view to the same themes.
“This is an EP about feeling. ‘Love’ comes to break some paradigms that still affect today’s society, and reveals not only the beautiful side, but the tragic, the sexual, the carnal, the despair; and yes, the vulnerable but strong side ” says Maya.
This love full of comings and goings, between calm and restlessness, is one of the hallmarks of the EP, emerging strong in the following “Tempo” and the direct and passionate “Set The Mood.” The EP closes with “eBay,” a track that purposely moves between romantic and light talk with openly sexual situations. The song is full of dualities and it also received a visual treatment. The video shows the artist as a cam girl, dealing with a distant and obsessive passion.
