The Korean-American producer, DJ, and vocalist Yaeji is back with the new tune “Waking Up Down” and announces her debut mixtape to be released in April. The track comes along with an anime-inspired video characterizing herself and her companions in an colorful, flashy cartoon world. Her newest offering is an upbeat house tune with a motivational message in which Yaeji sings meditatively “I got waking up down/I got cooking down/I got making a list and checking down”.
