The wait is over, Kaytranada delivers his long-awaited sophomore album “BUBBA”.
It’s been almost four years since the release of Kaytra’s highly acclaimed debut album “99.9%”. The Canadian super-producer has shared tons of standalone songs and collaborations, from “DYSFUNCTIONAL” and his “Nothin Like / Chances” EP to the Robert Glasper Remix project and beyond.
About a month ago he announced that his new album was fisnished and last week he shared the first single “10%” featuring Kali Uchis, plus a promising tracklist for “BUBBA”.
The 17-track project is out now and it comes with guest-appearances by the likes of Pharrell Williams , Tinashe, VanJess, Estelle, Iman Omari, SiR, Mick Jenkins, Masego, Charlotte Day Wilson and GoldLink. Across the entire album, Kaytranada continues his diverse style, fusing elements of soul, funk, house, hip-hop and R&B.
